Paris Saint-Germain’s Luis Enrique and Ousmane Dembélé (27) said that they were “bored” over the weekend after their match against FC Nantes was postponed to aid their preparations for Aston Villa.

PSG, who have already wrapped up the Ligue 1 title, were scheduled to play relegation-fighting Nantes over the weekend, however, as was the case during Les Parisiens’ UEFA Champions League run last season, the LFP re-arranged the fixture in order to allow Luis Enrique’s side a break in between the two legs against Aston Villa in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The game will now be played on Tuesday 22nd April.

It means that PSG are fresh as they look to maintain their 3-1 advantage against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Tuesday. However, there was boredom at the club over the weekend. “We were a bit bored at the weekend, even if it does us some good, too,” admitted Dembélé.

Luis Enrique jokingly added, “Ousmane said he was bored? Well, I was bored, too.”
