Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Victor Osimhen (25) in the summer without taking their interest further. However, that interest could be re-ignited in January, according to a report from RMC Sport.
Osimhen, also the subject of interest from Chelsea, ultimately made the move to Galatasaray. That came after the closure of most transfer windows in Europe with Napoli ostracising him from the first-team set-up. It left the Nigerian with two options: join the Turkish club or spend the next few months on the sidelines.
Since joining Galatasaray, he has netted 10 goals in 14 games. However, Osimhen could once again be on the move. PSG have made contact with the forward, however, a move could prove complex, as RMC Sport explain. Luis Enrique was opposed to the signature of a No.9 in the summer and he could be once again come January. With the player also currently on loan in Turkey, it is a deal that would require negotiation between PSG, Napoli, and Galatasaray. Those negotiations could prove difficult. Osimhen, however, is aware of Les Parisiens’ interest and isn’t opposed to a move to the Parc des Princes.
