PSG midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has joined Roma on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season, with the Serie A club given the option to buy him next summer.
The Dutch international joined the French capital side on 2021 having left Liverpool on a free transfer after five successful years that saw him win both the Premier League and the Champions League.

Compounded by injuries, the 31-year-old struggled to impose himself at PSG and, despite featuring 31 times in Ligue 1 only returned one goal and three assists.
Wijnaldum becomes manager José Mourinho’s fifth addition of the summer, joining Paulo Dybala as the highest profile signing in the Italian capital.
