PSG’s Djeidi Gassama set to sign for Sheffield Wednesday | OneFootball

Foot Mercato are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain forward Djeidi Gassama is set to join Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.

The French publication is reporting that only the final details need to be sorted before the France U20 international moves to Hillsborough. Gassama himself has already agreed terms with Sheffield Wednesday ahead of the move.

Gassama is a PSG academy product. The forward has featured just once for the first team, a substitute appearance against Montpellier in the penultimate game of the 2021/22 season. Last season, he was on loan at Belgian side KAS Eupen. During 20 appearances for the club, he scored twice and registered two assists. Gassama has impressed for PSG’s youth sides, notably scoring five goals in eight appearances for Les Parisiens in the UEFA Youth League.

PSG have included bonuses in the deal, as well as a considerable sell-on percentage, the exact figures of which haven’t been revealed.
