PSV Eindhoven are showing strong interest in Club Brugge winger Noa Lang, according to Voetbal International. On Wednesday, after scoring for the Netherlands in their 4-2 defeat to Croatia, it was reported that the 23-year-old’s desire is to leave the Belgian Pro League side this summer.

Lang has become a serious target for PSV after a successful season with Club Brugge. Last campaign the former Ajax man scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 40 appearances for the side that finished fourth overall in the Pro League.

After the departures of Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke in January, strengthening the wing positions has become a priority for PSV this summer. VI say that there has already been contact between PSV and Club Brugge about the possible move and that there will soon be more clarity over the feasibility of the transfer.

Recently, Noa Lang has spoken about possibly returning to the Netherlands. ‘At first I said firmly: no, but I have just become a father. Maybe one or two years, can’t hurt. If I had done at Ajax or PSV what I did for three seasons at Club Brugge, I’d be playing at a top European club right now. Apparently, they don’t sell that well in Belgium.’ Lang could become Peter Bosz’s first signing as PSV head coach. The 59-year-old was appointed as manager of the Dutch giants earlier this week.
