Sometimes, events involving certain players trigger consequences for others—and that’s precisely the case at Tottenham.
As the Spurs prepare for the summer transfer window, speculation is mounting over which players could leave the club.
Among those linked with an exit is captain Heung-Min Son, who has reportedly caught the attention of both Bayern Munich and Manchester United ahead of the summer.
Another name on the list is Yves Bissouma, the Tottenham midfielder who, due to injuries and inconsistent form, appears to have lost his spotlight.
Now, for the second time this month, doubts have resurfaced over the future of Spurs defender Micky van de Ven.

According to former Tottenham scout Mick Brown, speaking to Football Insider, Real Madrid are keen on adding a top-class left-sided centre-back to their squad in the upcoming transfer window.
Brown claims that while Madrid are also monitoring Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite, Van de Ven remains their priority.
"Real Madrid are in the market for a left-sided centre-back. There have been links to Jarrad Branthwaite, but I hear they’ve been looking at the Tottenham defender, Van de Ven.
"I think he stands out as the better option between those two," Brown explained. "Obviously, a lot will depend on how he recovers from this injury, so they’ll be keeping an eye on that."
Although speculation surrounding the Spurs defender isn’t new, it seems unlikely that the club will agree to sell him.
With Tottenham struggling with defensive injuries, Van de Ven’s near-completed recovery could be crucial in getting the team back on track in the Premier League.
The Dutchman has been sidelined for some time, and while his recovery has been gradual, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou recently stated that they must be cautious and not rush him back.
However, there’s no denying that Real Madrid are a powerhouse, and if they table an attractive offer—especially if Van de Ven proves he can stay fit—there’s a strong chance the defender might ultimately be tempted to accept.
