Roma boss Claudio Ranieri confirmed the latest rumors regarding Mario Hermoso’s imminent departure from the club.

The Spanish defender was not called up for today’s match against Udinese.

The latest news suggest the ex-Atletico Madrid is nearing a move to Bayer Leverkusen who are in talks with him.

In his post-match presser following Roma’s 2-1 win over Udinese, Ranieri commented Hermoso’s situations.

“Hermoso wants to leave,” he confirmed. “He will leave and in his place we’ll sign someone else.”
