Raul Jiménez continued his brilliant run of form by scoring another goal for Mexico against Chile on Friday.
The 27-year-old has now scored five goals in his last six games for club and country, grabbing a solitary assist as well.
According to Portuguese media, Wolves are ready to pay the €41m release clause in his contract to sign him permanently from Benfica this summer.
Judging on recent form, that fee could well seem a bargain in the current market.
