La Liga outfit Real Betis are in line for a significant funds boost, after agreeing to the sale of attacker Luiz Henrique.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has late this evening provided an insight into the terms of the deal.
Henrique, for his part, is all set for a return to his home country of Brazil, to link up with Botafogo.
This comes after the Rio-based outfit agreed to break their transfer record, as part of a €20 million package for the 23-year-old.
From here, Henrique could then move on to French giants Olympique Lyonnais down the line, as part of the ‘Eagle Football’ group.
The transfer is expected to be made official at some point over the coming weekend.
Henrique, for his part, has managed 13 La Liga appearances across the season to date, notching a trio of assists along the way.
Just five of these outings, however, came in the form of starts, making a €20 million injection for something of a bit-part player a tidy piece of business on the part of the Betis brass.
