The brass at La Liga outfit Real Betis are closing on a deal for what would be an altogether noteworthy mid-season transfer coup.
This comes amid confirmation that the Verdiblancos are inching towards tying up an agreement with Liverpool, for the signing of Stefan Bajcetic.
Youngster Bajcetic, for his part, has spent the season to date plying his trade with Austrian giants RB Salzburg.
Evidently of the opinion that the Spanish youth international’s game-time has not been sufficient, however, the Liverpool board recently made the call to cut the terms of the deal short.
And as much has opened the door for Bajcetic to seal an imminent return to his home country.
As per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Real Betis are in advanced talks to sign Stefan Bajcetic on loan deal from Liverpool. Not done yet but progressing.’
A deal for Bajcetic is not thought to be linked in any way to Betis’ ongoing negotiations for Enzo Le Fée (AS Roma) or Arthur (Juventus).
