Real Madrid were not at their best against Mallorca, but they did just about enough to secure a 2-1 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu. And in the process, they have kept themselves in the La Liga title race for at least another 24 hours. Here’s how each of Los Blancos’ players fared on Wednesday.

Player Ratings

Thibaut Courtois – 6

A quiet evening for the Belgian, although he did make a big save to deny Mateu Morey moments after Kylian Mbappe had scored Real Madrid’s equaliser.

Federico Valverde – 7

Solid performance, spending the vast majority of the match near Mallorca’s box. He came close to scoring before half time, but was denied by Leo Roman.

Jacobo Ramon – 8

Excellent from the 20-year-old on his full La Liga debut for Real Madrid. He did well in the physical match-up against Vedat Muriqi, before scoring the winner in the 95th minute.

Raul Asencio – 7

Decent from Asencio, who had been dealing with personal issues in the lead-up to the match. He was replaced just beyond the hour mark.

Fran Garcia – 6

Another underwhelming performance from Fran Garcia, who was not effective on the left side for Real Madrid.

Luka Modric – 7

Good enough performance from Modric, who ran the show in midfield alongside Dani Ceballos. He provided the assist for Mbappe’s equaliser.

Dani Ceballos – 7

Similar for Ceballos, who has continued to rise in prominence at Real Madrid in 2025.

Arda Guler – 8

Guler impressed, and he could have scored twice had it not been for excellent saves from Leo Roman. He struggled in El Clasico, but shone here, albeit against significantly weaker opposition.

Jude Bellingham – 6

By his standards, another disappointing performance from Bellingham. He has struggled in recent weeks, and that continued against Mallorca.

Endrick – 6

Given that chance to start due to Vinicius Junior’s injury woes, it was a nervous performance from Endrick. Could – and should – have scored at least once, but failed to do so.

Kylian Mbappe – 8

Real Madrid’s best player this season delivers again. His equalising goal took him to 40 across all competitions, and his 27 in La Liga means that he leads the Pichichi Trophy race by two.
