The future of Carlo Ancelotti remains uncertain as ever even after Real Madrid’s failure in both Copa Del Rey and UEFA Champions League.

Although it seems certain that Real Madrid are going to hire a new coach this summer, Ancelotti’s exit cannot be expedited for now.

The Spanish giants are still in the race for the league title and unless there is a clear indication that the club can’t mathematically win the league, Ancelotti remains at Santiago Bernabeu.

In the background, the Brazilian football federation has been desperate to get their hands on Ancelotti. But the Italian has remained firm in his desire to at least play out the season.

Ancelotti’s message to Brazil

As reported by AS, it appears Ancelotti is in no hurry to sign a deal with the Brazilian national team.

The Italian has made his clear to the CBF, who have been pushing for a deal knowing they must get a new manager for the upcoming international break.

However, Ancelotti has strictly told the federation, “You’re in a hurry to sign, I’m not. Real Madrid come first.”

Therefore, Brazil have realised they have no choice but to wait until the end of the season or at least when it is decided that Real Madrid cannot mathematically win the league title.

Real Madrid themselves have maintained harmony with Ancelotti despite the recent turn of events. The Italian, after all, is the club’s most successful and decorated manager.

The ongoing La Liga season is scheduled to end on May 25, but it is likely that the winner will be decided before the final matchday.

The upcoming Clasico on May 11, to that end, could prove to be crucial, as far as the race for the league title is concerend. Until then, Brazil have no choice but to wait.
