Large sections of the home crowd in attendance at Real Madrid’s meeting with Las Palmas this evening have made use of the opportunity to take firm aim at Barcelona.
This comes owing to the recent ‘registration case’ in Catalunya’s capital.
Barcelona of course sparked widespread anger across the Spanish football landscape last week.
This came after the Blaugrana saw their appeal to the courts to register summer signings Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor for the 2nd half of the campaign bear fruit.
Real Madrid were not amongst the group of clubs to have released public statements, condemning what was considered by many to be special treatment afforded to Hansi Flick’s side.
But, as alluded to above, on Sunday, the Blancos faithful have made their feelings with the situation crystal clear.
In the thick of Real’s La Liga meeting with Las Palmas, chants of ‘corruption in the federation’ could be heard booming across the stands at the Santiago Bernabéu.
This has since been widely construed as a direct criticism of Barcelona, La Liga and the RFEF alike.
