It was young Endrick who saved Real Madrid’s blushes in the Copa del Rey earlier this month, scoring twice in extra-time to help the team to a win over Celta Vigo.
In his short cameo, the Brazilian wonderkid proved his talent and made a strong case for more prominence under Carlo Ancelotti. However, his situation continues to be the same as the manager rarely turns to him.
Endrick’s turbulent situation at Real Madrid has put his future under question and the past 24 hours have seen several rumours float on his next step.
Late last night, a report from Santi Aouna relayed that Endrick could well leave Real Madrid on loan in the ongoing winter transfer market as the club saw him need more regular minutes to further his development.
That development, however, was quickly refuted by Fabrizio Romano who stated that Real Madrid are not considering sending Endrick on loan at the moment.

As relayed by the Italian journalist, Los Blancos maintain the same plan with the youngster – to give him fringe minutes and slowly bring him to pace with elite-level football. There is thus no chance he will leave in January.
So far this season, the teenager has made 13 appearances in La Liga and averages just ten minutes per game. He has scored one goal in that duration and has missed two big chances.
His future will largely depend on his minutes in the second half of the season and one can expect them to see an improvement given that he has now spent six months in the dressing room.
Should he not enjoy prominence, however, talks of a loan departure in the summer will undoubtedly return.
