As reported earlier this month, one of Real Madrid’s priorities for the summer transfer window of 2025 is to sign a creative midfielder who can help fill the void left by Toni Kroos’ retirement.
Names like Vitinha of PSG and Martin Zubimendi and have been mentioned as potential options for Los Blancos to reinforce the midfield department.
Now, it now appears that the Merengues have landed on another prospective option to strengthen their roster in the centre of the park.
According to Fichajes, Alexis Mac Allister, the Argentine midfielder for Liverpool, has caught the attention of Real Madrid due to his impressive performances in the Premier League.
The player, one of the standout figures for the Reds, is now on the radar of the Spanish club as a potential addition to strengthen their midfield.

The Argentine international, who joined Liverpool after an excellent stint at Brighton, has been a success at Anfield. His ability to dictate the game, recover possession, and his tactical awareness have made him an essential figure.
Additionally, Mac Allister is not only noted for his defensive contributions but also for his offensive involvement, making him a well-rounded player and a highly sought-after talent in the market, with Real Madrid taking a liking.
However, Los Blancos’ interest will not be easy to realise, as Liverpool are unwilling to let go of their star for anything less than €100 million.
Real Madrid are already working to lure Trent Alexander-Arnold away from Liverpool next summer and it will be interesting to see if there is any development on the Mac Allister front as well in the months to come.
