Paris Saint-Germain had its eye on Dean Huijsen last summer as part of a defensive overhaul, but the Spanish center-back ended up joining AFC Bournemouth instead. If PSG revisits its interest, it won’t be alone in the race.
Even after signing Willian Pacho, PSG could still be in the market for another center-back, especially with Milan Skriniar expected to make his loan move to Fenerbahçe permanent.
According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are all monitoring the 19-year-old.
Huijsen has impressed in the Premier League with steady performances, earning praise and catching the attention of top clubs. If PSG makes a move, it will face stiff competition, and any team looking to sign him will likely need to meet a high asking price.
AS journalist Eduardo Burgos previously reported, Chelsea are out of the race for Huijsen. The young defender is set to move this summer, and Bournemouth have reportedly given up hope of keeping him.
Real Madrid are in discussions with his representatives, while Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also interested. Burgos notes that Huijsen’s price tag is €60 million (£50 million), backed by multiple reports.

With so many clubs rumored to be in on Huijsen, clubs will have Plan B’s if they miss out on the teenager. Real Madrid reportedly have a backup plan in case they whiff on the youngster to bolster their backline.
Fichajes reports that Milan’s Serbian defender, Strahinja Pavlovic, has caught the attention of the decision-makers at Santiago Bernabéu. His youth, defensive skills, and growth potential make him a strong option to bolster the back line if the deal for the Spanish defender doesn’t go through.
Pavlovic is reportedly an appealing option not just because of his potential but also because of his price. While Huijsen could command a high fee with several clubs interested, the center-back comes at a more reasonable cost, making him a financially sensible target for Real Madrid.
The strong relationship between the Real Madrid and Milan boards could help smooth negotiations, per Fichajes. As for the transfer cost, Transfermarkt puts the player’s value at €18 million.
