Real Madrid have no immediate plans to negotiate a contract renewal with Vinicius Jr., despite the speculation that has been circulating in recent weeks.
According to a report from El Chiringuito TV, the Spanish giants will only consider renewing the Brazilian forward’s deal in the summer of 2026, which is just a year before his current contract is set to expire.
This contradicts recent claims suggesting that discussions over a new deal are already underway.
Over the past few weeks, there has been increasing talk about Vinicius’ future at Real Madrid, with Saudi Arabian clubs showing significant interest.
The Middle Eastern nation has been making an aggressive push to bring the winger to the Saudi Pro League, presenting a financial package that is nothing short of extraordinary.

Reports indicate that the offer would not only make Vinicius the highest-paid footballer in the world but also the highest-paid athlete across all sports.
The financial backing behind this pursuit is immense, and Saudi authorities are prepared to go to great lengths to convince the 24-year-old to make the switch.
Despite these external efforts, Real Madrid appear unmoved. Some reports previously suggested that the club had already begun renewal talks with Vinicius and that his representatives had outlined their demands.
However, El Chiringuito TV firmly denies these claims, stating that Real Madrid have no plans to discuss a new contract anytime soon. Instead, the club will stick to their original timeline and assess the situation closer to 2026.
Furthermore, Real Madrid’s stance is clear—if Vinicius ever expresses a desire to leave, any potential suitor will have to meet his release clause, which is reportedly set at an astronomical amount.
This essentially rules out the possibility of negotiations or any discounted transfer fees. The club remains confident in their long-term vision, and for now, they see no urgency in altering Vinicius’ contract situation.
