Stade Rennais were very busy in the winter transfer window and some of their new recruits are expected to feature from the start against AS Saint-Étienne on Saturday night.

Of the winter recruits, Brice Samba, Seko Fofana (both of whom have been at the club for several weeks and have already been bedded in), Lilian Brassier, Jérémy Jacquet (recalled from a loan spell), and Kazeem Olaigbe are all set to start for Rennes tonight. The likes of Mousa Al-Taamari, Ismaël Koné, Anthony Rouault, and Kyogo Furuhashi, signed from Celtic, will likely have to settle for places on the bench.

Alidu Seidu is the only major absentee. He has been out for several weeks and is not expected to return before the end of the season. Arnaud Kalimuendo is set to lead the line for Rennes with Ludovic Blas featuring on the right wing.
