Report Reveals How Much Aston Villa Are Willing to Pay PSG for Marco Asensio | OneFootball

Marco Asensio has rediscovered his past form after moving from Paris Saint-Germain to Aston Villa as the veteran went on loan to the Premier League side during the winter transfer window.

In 16 appearances across all competitions, Asensio has recorded eight goals and one assist for Unai Emery’s team. With the Spaniard making contributions to the English side, the question now is whether they intend to keep him past this season.

With the summer transfer window on the horizon, there’s new information regarding Aston Villa’s stance on Asensio as they look to keep the player and build off his first few months with the club.

Estadio Deportivo (h/t Mundo Deportivo) reports that both clubs are having positive talks about a permanent transfer this summer, with a fee rumored to be around €15 million. While this might seem low compared to Premier League prices, it’s still a solid deal financially, especially since Asensio joined PSG for free.

The Parisians probably won’t have trouble selling the player as they can secure a fee for someone who was signed as a free agent and isn’t in manager Luis Enrique’s plans.
