Both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid won their matches on matchday 31 of La Liga, and as a result, the Catalans remain 4 points ahead of their rivals in the league race.

However, with seven games still remaining to play, this La Liga race can still have some twists and turns before its end.

This is particularly so as both these teams still have to play against one another in the league, and the next La Liga El Clasico is scheduled to take place on 11th May.

In addition to the result of this game and its implications for the title race, another aspect of this game that has been keeping the Blaugrana fans in suspense is the choice of the artist who will make an appearance on the Barcelona shirts.

Several names have been linked for this honour, including Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, but according to SPORT, it will be the American rapper Travis Scott whose logo will appear on the Blaugrana team’s shirts in this all-important game.

Scott is currently one of the most popular artists in the world, with 68 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Furthermore, he is only behind Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Bad Bunny, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish in terms of the number of songs downloaded.

The Texan rapper will thus become the sixth artist to feature on a Barcelona shirt in an El Clasico. Since their agreement with Spotify in 2022, the music streaming platform has allowed some of the most well-known musicians to appear on the Catalan team’s shirt, including the likes of Drake, Rosalia, The Rolling Stones, Karol G, and Coldplay.

Among these, Rosalia and Coldplay have proved to be particularly lucky for the Blaugranes, as with the former’s logo they won 2-1 in their last El Clasico at Camp Nou, while under the latter, they won 0-4 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the last classic.
