AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao is not expected to name Christian Pulisic in his starting line-up for the game against Hellas Verona tonight.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Pulisic is not feeling at his best, he is a bit bruised and for this reason tonight against Hellas Verona he will initially start from the bench.
Conceiçao does not want to take any risks given that on Tuesday the return leg of the Champions League play-offs against Feyenoord is scheduled at San Siro, when he will need the American forward at his best.
Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport are also reporting that Pulisic will not start from minute one, and neither will Rafael Leao. There has been talk of both wingers not being in the best condition, and thus the Portuguese head coach will look to rotate to keep them fresh.
Sky meanwhile do not have Pulisic in their predicted XI either, instead putting Alex Jimenez on the right. They do think that Leao will start on the opposite flank though, with Joao Felix as the attacking midfielder behind the striker Santiago Gimenez.
To clarify, each source believe that Pulisic will be named on the bench at the very least, so would be able to come on during the game.
