Notably, the last first-team player to don the number 30 at Anfield was Suso back in the 2014/15 season. Prior to that, fellow Dutchman Boudewijn Zenden had worn the number briefly in the mid-2000s. With no current occupant, the door is wide open for Frimpong to reclaim his familiar squad number and make it his own on Merseyside.

Other Numbers That Could Suit Frimpong

While number 30 seems the most likely option, several other shirt numbers remain available for Frimpong.
