Paris Saint-Germain might be aiming to further strengthen their midfield this summer. Last year, they brought in Joao Neves to join an already solid group featuring Vitinha, Warren Zaire-Emery, and Fabian Ruiz.

On paper, it may not look like they need another addition in that area, but under Luis Enrique, the midfield seems to be the focal point of the project. The manager isn’t shy about rotating players either, especially with PSG pushing on multiple fronts.

With that in mind, one midfielder is already being linked to the club ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are interested in signing Sandro Tonali, but any potential move would largely depend on what the midfielder wants. Newcastle United reportedly have no intention of selling and would be in a strong position to keep him, especially if they secure a Champions League spot at St. James’ Park.

Meanwhile, CaughtOffside reported recently that several European giants—including Manchester City, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain—are monitoring Tonali’s situation.

The Italian midfielder is said to be open to a possible move this summer. Since arriving from AC Milan, where he was already highly regarded, Tonali has made a solid impression at Newcastle. While the club would prefer to keep him, CaughtOffside claims they might consider offers in the region of €80 million.
