Serie A side Roma did make some key signings in the summer but they could look to make another one in the January transfer window.

They did sign two full-backs in the summer – Saud Abdulhamid and Samuel Dahl, but they are taking some time to settle into the new club. That is why the club could go into the January window to sign another full-back.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Nottingham Forest’s Aina is a target and he is seen someone who would make instant impact, largely because he is used to playing in Serie A and because he knows Ivan Juric’s setup quite well.

His current deal runs out in the summer of 2025 and his current valuation is at around €12 million, which could decrease further by the January transfer window.

There are some other names on the Giallorossi’s shortlist but Aina is seen as the most viable option from many perspectives.
