Roma have secured Gian Piero Gasperini’s final OK for his appointment to be made official in the coming days.
After hours of doubts and speculations, the Atalanta coach has made his intentions clear.

As reported by Il Tempo, Roma never had any doubts regarding Gasperini’s will.
The two parties had been in close contact in the aftermath of yesterday’s meeting and Juventus’ rumored approach did not endanger the negotiation.
Meeting with Friedkin, Ghisolfi and Ranieri in person helped convince Gasperini of Roma’s project, which in turn prompted him to turn down Juventus who had launched contacts with his entourage in recent hours.
According to Italian journalist Giovanni Albanese of Gazzetta dello Sport, Gasperini already informed Juventus of his decision: he will be joining Roma in the next days.
