Samp kick off Spezia build-up following Inter triumph

Sampdoria returned to the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday morning following the day off granted to the players by Claudio Ranieri after the 2-1 win over Inter on Wednesday.

After a warm-up, the squad worked through technique drills and fitness exercises, after which the players most involved in the Inter game had a recovery session. The rest of the squad got stuck into some high-press practice games.

Alex Ferrari and Manolo Gabbiadini continued working on their recovery plans, which included some pool work on Friday. Nik Prelec had a solo session outside as he continues to target a return to action.

Samp will train again on Friday morning ahead of the Monday night trip to Spezia.
