The Giallorossi are without Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini due to muscular issues, with Mario Hermoso and Alexis Saelemaekers still on the treatment table.

Stephan El Shaarawy, Matias Soulé and Nicolò Pisilli therefore step into the starting XI to support Artem Dovbyk.

Bologna’s form has been improving steadily in Serie A with back-to-back victories, but they stumbled again in the Champions League with a 1-0 home defeat to AS Monaco.

Martin Erlic, Oussama El Azzouzi, Michel Aebischer and Nicolò Cambiaghi are still out injured.

Albert Gudmundsson and Danilo Cataldi are still carrying knocks for Fiorentina, who surprisingly lost in the Conference League to APOEL on Thursday evening.

Verona welcome Jackson Tchatchoua and Reda Belahyane back from suspension, though they are replaced on the naughty step by Dailon Livramento.

Pawel Dawidowicz, Juan Manuel Cruz and Martin Frese are long-term absentees.
