The races for the Scudetto and European placements are wide open. Fiorentina failed to leapfrog Juventus, so both sides are now three points below fourth-placed Lazio with a game in hand.

Milan are eight points below a Champions League spot, with two games yet to be played.

The Rossoneri are still in Riyadh, where they’ll face Inter in the Supercoppa Final on January 6.

Juventus and Atalanta have already returned after being eliminated in the semifinals.
