La Liga was never going to be an easy title to win, and FC Barcelona have been aware of that from the first day. Still, through injuries and inconveniences, the Catalan giants have managed to persevere. However, there are still some very crucial games ahead for Barcelona.

While they may have won against Atletico Madrid in their most recent game thanks to a heroic comeback, La Blaugrana still have more to do. Unfortunately for them, the postponed fixture against CA Osasuna in La Liga has now been scheduled on a rather unfair date for both involved clubs.

Now set to take place on the 27th of March, it is a game that could see several international players be rushed back to club duty. Moreover, it will also make it extremely unlikely for two of Barça’s key players to make it in time for the game.

As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, both Raphinha and Ronald Araujo would still be on international duty on the 25th and 26th of March, as they would be representing their National teams. This would force them to take long flights, without any rest, and rush back to Barcelona.

The only way they could both be available again for the team would be through an unconventional method, one that would require both of the players to get a yellow card in their first match. However, the two South American stars will not be the only players facing the strict repercussions of their scheduling decision.

The likes of Gerard Martin, Fermin Lopez, and Pablo Torre would also all be on international duty with the Spanish Under-21 side as they take on Germany in Darmstadt. Moreover, fellow Barcelona fullback Hector Fort would be on duty with the Under-19 Spain team as his side is scheduled to take on Latvia.

All of these players would be rushed back as well, highlighting just how unfair this new scheduling is for the team. However, Barcelona have been frustrated with this decision, and reports already claim that the Catalan giants are going to appeal this decision.
