WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Saints this evening.
Dennis spent her youth in the academy system at Arsenal before joining their North London rivals Spurs last summer. The 18-year-old has made two first team appearances for Spurs to date, both of which have come in the Subway Women’s League Cup. The winger needs regular game time to progress and she should now get the opportunity to play games with loan club Southampton.
After sealing her move to St Mary’s Stadium, Dennis said “I’m really excited to be here and get some minutes in for the rest of the season.
“It’s been really good [moving to Spurs], being around the girls for the past couple of months and learning off of them every day, they’re all experienced players. Hopefully all the learning I’ve taken I can bring here.”
Dennis becomes Southampton’s first signing of the January transfer window. The player could make her debut for The Saints when they face Sunderland in the Barclays Women’s Championship next weekend.
