According to Voetbalkrant, Westerlo’s Bryan Reynolds is the subject of a bid from Czech side Sparta Prague. The 23-year-old USMNT defender has spent the last three seasons in Belgium with Westerlo, having made his loan move from Roma permanent in the summer of 2023. So far, the club have already rejected a bid of around €2m for the former Dallas man.

Reynolds began his career in the MLS with Dallas before making the move to Serie A in the winter window of the 2020/2021 season. He only played eight times for the Italian side, spending a few months on loan at Kortrijk before heading to Westerlo for the 2022/2023 season. Reynolds impressed in his 34 games, with Westerlo making the move permanent. He has since scored twice in 54 games.

Sparta Prague have improved their offer to include an extra €500k and a 10% sell on clause. This is still less than what Westerlo spent to bring Reynolds to the club on a permanent basis.
