The Lilywhites announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
Karczewska joined Spurs last summer following a spell playing in France with FC Fleury 91. The player scored two goals in 14 appearances for the North Londoners in the Barclays Women’s Super League, however, she was given just six starts.
The Polish international could have found minutes hard to come by at Spurs this season therefore she has been allowed to join German club Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan. Karczewska joins a Bayer Leverkusen side who enjoyed a solid season in the FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga in 2022/2023. The club recorded a more than respectable fifth-place finish last season.
Karczewska could make her debut for Bayer Leverkusen when they travel to Meppen for a DFB Pokal Frauen second round tie on Sunday afternoon.
Three forward players have now left Spurs either permanently or on loan deals this summer. The Lilywhites look a little light on numbers in that area of the pitch and head coach Robert Vilahamn could look to bring in at least one new attacking player before the 2023/2024 season kicks-off next month.
