Both James Maddison and Heung-Min Son will miss Tottenham’s Europa League semi-final second leg with Bodo/Glimt, with Maddison ruled out for the remainder of the season.
The midfielder suffered a knee injury in the 3-1 first-leg victory over the Norwegian side and boss Ange Postecoglou has confirmed he is set for a lengthy absence.
“He’s out and he’ll miss the rest of this season,” he said.
“It’s very disappointing for him because he’s been a big part of this later part of the season, particularly in Europe for us.
“It’s disappointing for him more than anyone else because he was a big catalyst for us and he misses out but that’s been a constant of our season, dealing with these things so we’ll just overcome that.
“Everyone else from the first leg has travelled and is ready to go.”
The Spurs boss also confirmed Son is again set to miss out with the foot injury he is recovering from.
“It’s disappointing for Sonny, he was pushing hard and he has progressed,” Postecoglou said. “There’s the possibility of him getting some game time on the weekend for us but he hasn’t trained with the team yet.
“But he is progressing so we’ll just wait and see how he goes.”
Dominic Solanke, meanwhile, has recovered and is ready to play having taken a knock in the first-leg clash.
“Dom’s good,” Postecoglou said. “He’s ready to go. He trained fully the last couple of days so he’s no problem.”
Bodo/Glimt pose somewhat of a unique challenge because of their artificial pitch but Postecoglou insists it is just another thing his side will have to overcome if they are to progress to the final.
He said: “Whether it’s the pitch, the atmosphere, or the conditions, there’s always something you need to overcome at the end of the day.
“You’re playing in a major competition away. There’s always challenges there, whatever that is you need to overcome it and we’ll do that tomorrow.”
