Brenden Aaronson heads to the Prem

Former Philadelphia Union star Brenden Aaronson is off to the English Premier League, having completed a move out of Red Bull Salzburg to join Leeds United.

With 13 goals in 66 matches to his name in the Austrian Bundesliga, Aaronson now joins up with fellow American in Leeds manager Jesse Marsch.

Canada cancels Iran friendly

Canada Soccer has cancelled their upcoming friendly against Iran, after facing negative reaction surrounding this World Cup preparation match.

While no new opponent has been identified as of yet, Canada Soccer also added later in the day that they are “working diligently to find an alternative opponent.”

Canada has a pair of Concacaf Nations League tilts against Curacao and Honduras coming up in June, too.

Once again, Major League Soccer and adidas have teamed up to produce a new series of kits using recycled marine plastic waste.

They’ll be worn league-wide on May 27 through May 29, as fashion and social action meet on the pitch once more.
