A NEW CROWN

For those who still had doubts, it's now official: Paris Saint-Germain are officially champions of France. This is the 13th league title in the capital club's history, the 4th in a row, and the 6th time in their last 7 titles that PSG have been crowned champions before May (apart from the 19-20 season, which was interrupted by the pandemic).

For their new crown, PSG have produced some jewels: 74 points from 28 matches in Ligue 1 2024-25, for example, the club having only done better at this stage of a season in the top flight in 2018-19 (77).

Then came the diamond of invincibility, with Paris becoming only the 2nd team not to have lost any of their first 28 games in an L1 campaign after Nantes in 1994-95 (1st defeat in their 33rd game).

EXPLOSIVE form

Nothing seems to be able to stop the Parisians, who still have a number of goals to achieve at the end of this season, despite the French league title already being secured.

And to do so, the Rouge et Bleu can count on an their incredible form. First of all, the capital club have won their last nine Ligue 1 matches, a first under Luis Enrique, something that hasn't happened in the same PSG season since August-November 2018 (14).

Whats more, they are capable of scoring at every moment of the game. Against Angers, the second half made all the difference! Paris have scored 18 goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half in Ligue 1 this season, at least 5 more than any other team.

WIND IN THEIR SAILS

One name is on everyone's lips! Désiré Doué never ceases to shine, in the Paris shirt and recently in national team blue, everything he does is a success! He was the one to score the only goal of the game which clinched the title for PSG.

Set up by Kvaratskhelia (now involved in 5 Ligue 1 goals - 2 goals, 3 assists - each time in the 1st 15 minutes of the second half), Désiré Doué has now been involved in 18 goals in all competitions in 2025 (9 goals, 9 assists). The PSG attacking midfielder is only the 2nd player to have scored at least 9 goals and had at least 9 assists in all competitions this year, after Raphinha (10 goals, 10 assists).
