Team’s Up – Nawrocki and McCowan start for Celtic | OneFootball

Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s Glasgow Derby against Rangers. The Scottish Champions need three wins to secure a fourth successive Premiership title and will want to continue their march to the title with three points against the Ibrox side.

There are two major absences with Maik Nawrocki and Luke McCowan starting with Auston Trusty and Callum McGregor missing out.

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goals. The Dane has been excellent since signing and will want to make up for an uncharacteristically poor afternoon in January.

Nawrocki starts beside Cameron Carter-Vickers with Alistair Johnston and Jefferey Schlupp at full back.

Arne Engels starts in the holding role with Reo Hatate and Luke McCowan.

In attack, Daizen Maeda starts through the middle with Nicolas Kühn and Jota on the wing.
