Terem Moffi and Morgan Sanson make returns to OGC Nice first-team training | OneFootball

OGC Nice received a boost on Wednesday with Terem Moffi (25) and Morgan Sanson (30) returning to first-team training. Both players have been absent since the start of the campaign.

Moffi suffered an unfortunate ACL injury back in pre-season and has consequently missed the entirety of the current campaign. The same goes for Sanson, whose ankle injury was initially misdiagnosed by the club. Initially, it was thought that the former Aston Villa midfielder had simply suffered a sprain but further tests several weeks later showed a double fracture in his ankle.

It has been a long path back for the pair, however, they are now nearing returns. As reported by L’Équipe journalist Romain Lafont, Moffi and Sanson participated in an open training session at Le Gym’s training ground on Wednesday. It comes as Nice’s larger injury crisis eases. At one point, there were injuries to 12 first-team players. In addition to the aforementioned duo, Pablo Rosario is the only other absentee.
