The NWSL is only early into its 13th season, but there have been star players throughout the league since its inception. Here are the top 10 NWSL players of all time.

10) Lynn Biyendolo

Lynn Biyendolo, formerly Williams, has had an outstanding NWSL career. The forward has played for the Western New York Flash, North Carolina Courage, Gotham FC, and now Seattle Reign. In 2024, Biyendolo became the league's all-time leading scorer with 79 career goals.

Biyendolo was a fan favorite in North Carolina, where she scored 48 goals and contributed 20 assists in 100 appearances. Biyendolo is known for her pace, which allows her to slip past defenders and pressure her opposition's goal. Biyendolo, now in her first season with Seattle, will be looking to add even more goals to her tally.

9) Temwa Chawinga

Chawinga is an up-and-coming player in the NWSL, but she has already made her mark. In her first season with the Kansas City Current, she set a record with 21 goals scored. She also contributed six assists.

Now, during the 2025 season, Chawinga has already scored three goals in four matches. While she is newer to the league, the 26-year-old has already shown her tremendous scoring ability, which will likely continue.
