The first three days in Portugal

Step by step, head coach Thomas Letsch is working towards our first competitive match of the year on the Algarve coast. We are into the third day of our training camp in Albufeira, Portugal and we can be very happy with how it has gone so far.

The set-up has been fantastic here. We have a great hotel, the pitches are super and everything suits us! The first sessions have been superb, even if they weren't perfect, and the boys have been really playing their part!

The location of the training camp was quite deliberately chosen as the weather is close to 20 degrees Celsius - and is providing more than just comfort.

We have been talking a lot with the players. Thanks to the mild temperatures, we have the opportunity to stop and talk about tactical things during training, which would not be so easy in Austria with the cold weather.
