In the words of the famous American author William Feather: “Most of us regard good luck as our right, and bad luck as a betrayal of that right.”
With that in mind, Nacional Potosí defender Saúl Torres must be feeling pretty darn betrayed right now.
On Thursday, Nacional hosted The Strongest in the Bolivian Primera División and in the 26th minute, poor Saúl had a stroke of bad luck.
A looping effort by the visitors was superbly kept out by Nacional goalkeeper Jorge Ruth, only for this to happen.
Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
