TMW: Milan targeting three ‘interesting’ options in defence – the names

AC Milan are at risk of losing a few defensive players this summer, so some new additions will be required, and a few options have been named.
Fikayo Tomori and Malick Thiaw will be two players to watch this summer, as both are heavily rumoured to leave Milan, which is only a natural part of the footballing cycle. However, they must be replaced with quality, which is not always easy.
Both have shown their quality this season, and around €50 million can hopefully be reached with both of their sales, you would imagine, but it will need to be seen. Alternatively, they could be used in negotiations, as was suggested with Thiaw moving to Arsenal in part of a deal for Riccardo Calafiori.
Today, TMW director Niccolo Ceccarini has spoken about some of the other options that could be considered this summer, and each of the options is rather exciting, as Milan News relay.
“For the defence, in addition to Coppola from Verona, the Rossoneri are also pressing for Mosquera from Valencia. It is then to be understood what the margins of manoeuvre could be. Much will depend on the requests of the Spanish club. They also like Okoli from Leicester City.”
