Ollie Watkins is also back in the squad with Tottenham forward Dominic Solanke left out.

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has been handed a first England senior call up while while team-mate Noni Madueke is also involved, along with their former colleague Conor Gallagher.

But Manchester City star Phil Foden has been left out of the latest squad.

The 24-year-old recently spoke of his desire to have a short break from playing football after a challenging season with injury and off the field problems.

Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw have also been left out despite returning to fitness for this squad.

There is no place for Jack Grealish either, while Arsenal defender Ben White continues not to be involved with the national team despite reportedly being open to a recall.

But Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon returns after withdrawing from the last squad with injury.

Marcus Rashford and Marc Guehi miss out through injury.

Tino Livramento, Jarrod Bowen and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale were all in the squad last time but are not this time. Adam Wharton has also been left out.

England travel to Andorra for a World Cup qualifier Saturday 7 June, before hosting Senegal at the City Ground in Nottingham in a friendly on Tuesday 10 June.

Here’s the squad in full:
