Jan Vertonghen and Michel Vorm have signed new deals to take them up to the end of the Premier League season.

Both players were out of contract at the end of June and as a result, were free to depart the club and not see out the campaign if they wished to do so.

However, the club have announced that both men have penned deals which will see them through the final fixtures and up to the end of July.

Both men will then move on and find new clubs for the 2020/21 campaign, with the Belgian widely expected to seal a move to Roma.

Spurs have also confirmed that they have agreed to extend the loan periods of their players currently plying their trade away from north London.

That applies to Danny Rose (Newcastle United), Kyle Walker-Peters (Southampton), Jack Clarke and Luke Amos (both Queens Park Rangers) Brandon Austin (Viborg) and Armando Shashoua (Atletico Baleares).
