Thousands of fans stormed onto the pitch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to celebrate their Europa League triumph.
The club held a live screening in north London and jubilant scenes broke out after Spurs beat Manchester United 1-0 to end their 17-year trophy drought.
More than 40,000 fans who had not travelled to Bilbao attended the event and videos and photos on social media showed fans running onto the pitch after the full-time whistle.
Stewards were unable to contain those who invaded the pitch in celebration.
Some fans let off blue and white pyrotechnics, and before long the entire pitch was full with supporters who had made their way down from the stands.
Fans could also be seen climbing up and standing precariously on the 10 large screens on the pitch which had been showing the final.
The PA system told supporters to get off the pitch, reminding them that the playing surface was at risk of being damaged before Sunday’s final Premier League game of the season against Brighton.
“To all supporters you are damaging the pitch,” fans were told. “Please leave the field of play now.”
Spurs beat United in Bilbao thanks to Brennan Johnson’s first-half winner, as Ange Postecoglou delivered on his promise to win a trophy this season.
The club is having an official trophy parade on Friday evening, with the planned route to pass by the stadium.
