Despite the signings Tottenham was unable to complete during the winter transfer window, they are determined to improve during the summer window.
The Spurs continue to make headlines with their transfer rumours.
In fact, we mentioned that if the club takes advantage of Juventus' signing of Randal Kolo Muani, they could potentially secure Dusan Vlahovic.
Additionally, there have been rumours linking Tottenham to Southampton FC defender Kyle Walker-Peters or Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo.
Now, reports suggest that the summer's star signing could be Angel Gomes.

According to TBR Football, Tottenham is aware of the effort required to secure the Frenchman, so they are willing to 'step up their efforts' to acquire Gomes' services.
As the outlet continues, the Spurs were in talks with Angel Gomes and his teammate Jonathan David about making a move to North London, but FC Barcelona has now moved into pole position to sign the Canadian international.
The arrival of Angel Gomes could benefit the club in many ways, and his return to England could be imminent.
The interest in Gomes is not new; Tottenham have long desired the Lille midfielder, but for one reason or another, a move has not been possible.
In fact, during the transfer window, transfer correspondent Dean Jones said that whilst the club were interested in signing him for free, they sent representatives out to France to potentially strike a deal for him, but nothing came of that meeting, as Gomes ultimately stayed at Lille.
Angel Gomes' contract expires this summer, and obviously, Tottenham is not the only club interested—several Premier League clubs are already vying for the player.
And as nothing is ever straightforward, the midfielder's former club is 'not entirely out of the picture.'
