A Tottenham Hotspur legend has spoken out about seeking legal advice to address a José Mourinho situation. Fans need no reminding of this era.

José Mourinho is one of the best managers of all-time. He has achieved success at nearly every club he's managed but unfortunately, he doesn't look back on his Tottenham days with fond memories.

Mourinho was the Spurs boss between the years of 2019-2021. During this time, Mourinho had a win record of 51.16%, which is pretty good going. However, it was far less than he is accustomed to - For context, his firsts stint with Chelsea saw a 67.03% win rate and his second was 58.82%.

Speaking to his former teammate Kyle Walker on the "You'll Never Beat Kyle Walker" podcast, Danny Rose spoke about seeking legal advice to address his conversation with José Mourinho being filmed for a behind-closed-doors Amazon documentary on Tottenham Hotspur.

In his own words, Rose said: "When Poch was there, there was no cameras in his office. He didn’t allow that, so when I have gone to knock on the door I was assuming there were no cameras in the office, but they had put one in. I didn’t know that. I didn’t get notified until May that they had got this and were putting it in, so I wasn’t happy. I had to get legal advice."

While fans have become used to it now, it was admittedly a weird period of time when clubs would allow cameras behind the scenes to document the operations of the club. Fans were surprised by how transparent the clubs would allow the producers to be.

Of course, there are some things which are kept private for a reason. The conversation between Danny Rose and José Mourinho, whereby Rose spoke about his concern for gametime, should have been one of those private moments.

Danny Rose's time at Tottenham came to an end in the 2021 summer transfer window. However, under Mourinho, he very quickly looked surplus to requirements. It was a very dark period for Rose.

However. Tottenham Hotspur fans will look back at the positive moments which Danny Rose left behind. The defender is one of the best full-backs the club has ever seen, so regardless of how it ended, his legacy is very much intact in North London.
