The Curva Sud have been the topic of controversy for large parts of this season, and now, new things have been implemented in the stand for the AC Milan fans in attendance.
Throughout this season, there have been several reports about the ongoings with the Curva. Whether it be in-ground control to things occurring outside the ground – the bottom line has normally been the same and rarely positive.
As a result, there have been several complaints from the group about the treatment towards them, and things have only gotten more strict now it seems.
According to a report from Tuttosport (via Milan Press), there have been new ‘controls’ put in place by state police to ‘eliminate’ any threats or aggression of multiple ticket use, or no ticket use at all. However, this stands as just one of the measures put into place as a result of the ‘Doppia Curva’ investigation.
It is reported that many fans missed the first half of the game due to the implementations. As the game against Roma kicked off in the evening, many supporters only arrived in the 60 minutes before the game due to work schedules.
Now, a mix has to be found because controls are set to ‘remain in place’ going forward.
