Teenage Juventus defender Dean Huijsen is reportedly nearing a move to the Premier League to join AFC Bournemouth, but there are still two formalities to complete before the move becomes official, reports in Italy detail.
According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus and Bournemouth have come to an agreement over the fee and additional clauses surrounding the transfer.
The Bianconeri are set to receive an upfront fee of €15m, plus €3m in bonuses, with a 10% future sell-on clause set to be included in the contracts. Juventus had been holding out for an offer of €18m, ideally with a 20% sell-on.
Huijsen had also been subject of interest from Bundesliga outfit VfB Stuttgart, but the Cherries seem to have pipped them to the post.
According to Thursday’s reports, all that is missing now is for Huijsen to complete his visit to the English south coast for a medical, and then to formally sign off on the contracts.
Juventus are keen to find a new home for the former Roma loanee, as the funds raised from his sale will likely go towards a bid for Atalanta playmaker Teun Koopmeiners.
Juve have also agreed a deal to sell Next Gen graduate Matias Soule to Roma for a €30m package, which is also set to go towards an offer for Koopmeiners.
