Two Gladbach transfer busts headed to Turkey?

Gladbach's January transfer plans apparently include potentially cutting their losses with respect to two players who no longer play much of a role in Gerardo Seoane's squad. Germany's "Sport Bild" tabloid reports that separate Turkish clubs have lodged interest in Nathan Ngoumou and Tomas Cvancara.

Ngoumou has made nine appearances (two starts) in the league thus far this season while Cvancara has just one start among his 12 league deployments. Galatasaray Istanbul are said to be interested in Cvancara. Fenerbahçe are listed as potential suitors for Ngoumou.

Cvancara was once touted as the direct replacement for the departed Marcus Thuram, but injuries prevented him nailing down a starting spot last season. The arrival and successful of Tim Kleindienst renders him expendable. Wingers Franck Honorat and Robin Hack are ahead of Ngoumou on the depth chart.

In both cases, the foals likely won't be able to recoup the transfer sums they shelled out for both players. Cvancara (presently estimated worth €5 million) reportedly costs his German club €10.5 million while Ngoumou (now valued at €3.5 million) arrived for an €8 million fee.
