TyC Sports: Independiente internally suspend Milan loanee Pellegrino – the reason | OneFootball

Marco Pellegrino’s loan spell with Independiente could be going better, as the defender has been suspended for internal disciplinary issues.

The decision was made during the summer to loan Pellegrino back to his home country after he spent the second half of last season with Salernitana, who ended up suffering relegation back to Serie B.

However, TyC Sports (via Calciomercato.com) report that Pellegrino has been suspended by the Argentine side, along with his team-mate Diego Tarzia. They will not be included in the squad called up for the league match against Godoy Cruz due to ‘acts of indiscipline’.

The reason is linked to what happened a few days ago when a video that went viral showing the two players at a birthday party on a yacht, in the company of a former contestant of the local Big Brother named Flor Regidor.

Although the two are important members of coach Julio Vaccari’s team, the club have decided to act to punish them and they will be forced to watch the next game from the sidelines.

The news will have of course made it back to Milan, who will no doubt have their own concerns internally about whether he is getting the most from his loan.
